Just to check, need this for a quotation, one can use a 6DL1136-6AA00-0PH1 with a non-HART device? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

I have no experience with this module. Another brand that I have used requires HART to be enabled per channel. On that device, the channels that do not have HART enabled just function as normal 4-20mA input channels. "HART COMMUNICATION With enabled HART operation, the analog module independently sends HART commands to the connected field devices. This always occurs alternately on a channel-specific basis with any pending external HART commands that arrive via the command interface of the module. • HART command (Page 83) • HART command interface (Page 95)" I would interpret that as HART can be enabled or disabled, as required, but that's subject to interpretation 2. Page 78 has a set of HART enable/disable parameters. - The "HART gate" parameter appears to be global for the module - the "HART activated" parameter appears to be channel related 3. Page 73 of the manual shows an error 147H, described as "HART malfunction in the field device". I would assume that is for a HART comm enabled channel. If you find a definitive answer, please tell us what that is. Attachmentet200sp_ha_f_ai_8xi_2-4-wire_HART_en-US_en-US.pdf (525 Downloads) |
