Can use S7-300 STL code in S7-1200?

Karls1 Posts: 139 Rating: (5)	Hello, First time going to use TIA so please bear with me. I have SCL compiled STL (raw and used to be for 300) and can i use it in S7-1200, after i change Interface as per TIA? What are the things need to be care of? thanks in advance.

STL is not supported by S7 1200.You can use SCL equivalent or converted version.

Thanks for feedback.S7 1200 supports both LAD and FBD basically, and about SCL and FW of CPU that should be (V2.2.0). SCL and Firmware version required Update V2.2.0 Key features supported by S7-1200 CPU firmware V2.2.0 include: SCL (Structured Control Language) Download in RUN New modules are available: CM 1243-2 AS-i Master CM 1241 RS422/485 SM 1222 DQ8 RLY Changeover Required software: STEP7 V11SP2 Basic or Professional.
