Cannot connect to IOT 2050 remotely even after PWR and STAT LED are green

I am trying to access the IOT 2050 Advanced(6ES7 647-0BA00-1YA2;FS:01) through SSH. However, I am getting the error,Network Error: Connection timed out. I tried doing it with PuTTY, cmd and MobaXterm, but all of them showed me errors. Moreover, I tried out telnet, only to get an error.

Kindly note the following observations:

1. The ethernet cable, connects the PLC directly to my PC. On the PLC side, the cable connection is made through theX1P1 port, with both the LEDs glowing brightly (although theLED1 blinks occasionally), and on the PC side, it is made through a USB-C to ethernet adapter.
2. The PWR LED stays green.
3. I am using an USB 2.0 flash-drive for booting the Example Image 1.1.1  in the PLC. As a result, the STAT LED always stays green(no blinking).
4. The IP address of the IOT 2050 is 192.168.200.1(default) and of the PC is192.168.200.x(manual; I have changed the value of x a few times but that didn't help).
5. My PC recognises the connection as an Unidentified Network. Also, the access type is No network access.
6. I used an FTDI cable for interacting with the PLC through serial communication. However, when I tried booting the OS, it got stuck in the middle. The Log file for the same is attached. 

I have gone through most of the topics relevant in this forum and around the internet, but none of them were useful. Hence, I would like to know where am I going wrong and how to resolve them through my current setup.
