Cannot established connection with PC Adapter

I have similar problem too but in my own case the step 7 V5.5 is installed in a VMware with operating system of window xp. while my main computer operating system is window 7. I cannot established connection between my laptop and the PLC using the PC adapter. I checked the device manager in my main computer to see if the PC adapter is connected, I could find it but it show error Icons that show that the driver for the PC adapter is missing. I checked through the site if I can download the driver for window 7 but i cannot find any driver for window 7. can any one assist on how to go about it? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
