Centralized user accounts via Simatic Logon

Sridhar_Shunmugavel Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Dear PCS7 users, I have redundant pcs7 servers and client stations. I would like to create the centralized user in one server, from where all client can access the user login. From Simatic logon i gave the path of first server in all clients, but if first server fails there is no access for client stations from 2nd server? If i create the same users and passwords in second server it is working fine. But i need to configure it in first server only.The password change by the user from client stations will have replicate in 1st server only. Can you guide me how to make the centralized user account with the server redundancy? Thanks, Sridhar

Use Simatic Logon and connect to another computer Disadvantage that you have only one system who manages the user administration 2. Use Simatic Logon and Domain Controllers Advantage: you can create redundant domain servers Disadvantage: you must have knowledge in Microsoft Active Domain setup
