S7 5.5 SP2 HF4 K5.5.2.4 CFC V7.0 SP1 7.0.1.0 ESD & F&G sytem using S7-412H with ET200M remote IO Interface via Simatic NET OPC Server to 3d party SCADA Ok, so I am working with CFC for a while now, I can get all the basics going but I am stuck however with a few issues that some knowledgeable people might be able to help me with. [schnippschnapp] 4) Code versions, previous safety systems I worked with (HIMA) had their own methods of generating unique code version, and advise if PLC code would cause a shutdown or not. There were also "unwritten" rules regarding modifications to running plant - always make a backup of the loaded code so you have a point to go back to when you mess up your mods etc. Hima would also indicate in detail what parts of the program had changed, can CFC do the same? [schnippschnapp] other questions can be found in the following thread CFC F-system, standard MOS block CFC F-system, communications wiht my SCADA CFC F-system, Chart IO CFC F-system, CPU system status CFC F-system, sometimes when I place CFC blocks on the screen they are assigned different number these are the main things I am running into, any help would be greatly appreciated |

Dear HenkAnalfabeet, well, I don't know the HIMA-system. But in S7 F-Systems you can use the compare-function from the safetyprogram-dialog. Have a look at chapter 10.3 in the manual. Best regards, yy1 |

Hello,
In HIMA terminolgy we have generated codes can be "downloaded" or it only include a "Reloaded".This is what the result of generated code in "ELOPII".In cases such as minor change in safey logic, you could end up with a reload without casing plant shutdown. But in major changes in "cabinet layout" you for sure need a download. There is big uncertanity to what their system select. In some cases reloadable codes may lead to download and a plant shutdown. But during a reload, safety part of the program is active in safety PLC. For the their counterpart in SIMATIC F CPUs, you can change the complete S7 Program with deactivation of safety mode in CPU(while it in RUN) and it is your responsibility to ensure the safety of plant with other measures.See also section 10.6(Downloading the safety program) and 10.5.1 (Deactivate safety mode) of mentioned manual.
