Change Admin username

Hello,

It looks like you have entered more then 3 times a wrong username or password.

When you have original project, you should download the project again to panel.

Another possibility might be:

- Make a backup of your HMI using Prosave. (Complete backup)

- Make a new project with Users and new passwords. Download to panel

- Make a backup of User Administration using Prosave.

- Restore the Complete backup to panel. (using Prosave)

- Restore the User Administration to panel. (using Prosave)

I try above success for restore password.

But when I try to change Admin username 

It will not change can you help me for same

My touch panel working ok but required to change user name.

I have another question. Can I delete some of usernames or all by this way?

All other users can be deleted I had done it.

But till am struggling for Admin username which not successful to delete.

Hope someone will help us.

Hello,

You can change the username of Admin?

(You can not delete the Admin)

It is possible to assign other users to the Administator group

You mean other users name that access administrator  control, yes. 

But still there is Admin user, my problem is default user name and password is known everyone.

Now I have changed password of Admin username.

Is the tool loaded in the HMI to make it possible to change passwords in runtime? If yes: Change the password of the Admin user. A same level user should be able to do it.

Alternate: By default a user is marked invalid when the wrong password is entered in 3 times. Do you have this default? If yes: punch the wrong password in for Admin for x3 times to mark Admin user as invalid.
