Change Profibus device cancel all communication

Hi, 

I had a GSD to update a Driver in a old factory but when i change the Profibus Device (18) all the communications are interrupted and I can not figure it out why this is happening. Someone have some explanation for this?

From wghat you show us we cannot easily tell you what is happening.

On which slave did you update the gsd (and why?). Is the updated slave one of the end nodes of the network (where the teminators nust be ON)? Can you attache the gsd files (before and after, please).

You already had communication faults on 2 of the slaves in your "original" network, did you check with the diagnostic buffer to see what the CPU was complaining about? You can open the diagnostic buffer from the screens you have shown us, simply double-click o any of the icons masked with a red slash (a fault symbol); you need to check the CPU's buffer, and any of the slaves (if the same message is repeated for all slaves).

Can you check the diagnostic buffer messages now to see what has changed since you updated the gsd file? If you need help to understand the logged messages, please use the "Save as" button in the diagnostic buffer screen so you can attache the txt file here; we may be able to help you decipher the fault messages.
