Changing the Profibus-Address by software

alibaba Posts: 90 Rating: (1)	Hi there, Is there a way to change a profibuss address of a CPU by software. Since we do sell machines and when they connect it the master-CPU. It's required to reprogram and redownload the slave CP342-5 by HW-CONFIG. However, since we do have C7-621 connected to the slave; wecan give an address from there to change the profibuss address and restartthe CPU??? can anubody help on this... thanx, aLiBaBa

However, the machine itself is configured with C7-621 and we would like from the display of the C7 to change the profibuss address of the CP342-5. This way, we will have the advantageof telling the client use any address that fit your plants. Regards, alibaba
