A detailed description is available in the manual "Programming with STEP 7 V5.4", section 16.9 "Configuring the Reporting of System Errors" - Entry ID 18652056. Or you may useSFC59 for diagnostics. (for advanced users)

miami Platinum Expert Joined: 8/31/2005 Last visit: 8/20/2024 Posts: 2198 Rating: (328)	just read out the data set1 The length of the dataset (for the any pointer) and its content can be found here (for ET200S) The attachment shows an example, I hope it helps more then it confused (variable names are in german, E40.0 (english:I40.0) and just a bit to enable or disable the diagnostic)). Call FB1 in OB1,OB35 to OB39 (interupt OB) and you should find diagnostic data in DB43 after any fault. Follow the link in this post to interprete the data. Attachment f-diag.zip (171 Downloads)
