tahlil Posts: 10 Rating: (0)	I have two cisco switch(2960 and 3750) and want to configure in simatic manager in profinet but I don't have gsd file of these switches. I use cpu 315-2pn/dp and 10 et200s(im151-pn) and 3, 2960 switch and one 3750 switch. I need cisco gsd file. please some one help me.

S7 AUTOMAN Posts: 515 Rating: (56)	hi, what is your configuration?am not aware of the CISCO switches you mentioned here, but for simple networking of the components with the switches you dont need to configure the switches in the hardware configuration of the Step7 and nor does you need the GSD files.

S7 AUTOMAN Posts: 515 Rating: (56)	hi, what if you directly connect the S7 300 cpu to the ET200S bypassing the Cisco switch? is it ok? You dont need to do the configuration of the switch in the simatic manager, perhaps you may need to do something on the cisco switch may be. Also try use some other switches like the scalance or advantech and see whether that works fine meanwhile?
