CMR 2040 how to set custom SMS aliases to send status of all monitored outputs.

Dear all , 

I have a CMR 2040 and a Logo8! and I have several outputs that are monitored for changes. 

I would like to make a custom incoming SMS alias to cause the module to query the status of all the inputs / outputs ( that I only monitor ) and send the appropriate SMS that I already have setup for them. ( for example if the M1 is =1 sends 1 if M1 =0 sends 0 some when I send the SMS alias to send only 0 or 1 ( given on the actual hardware status ) ) 

I don't want the whole image of the logo as with command <MONITOR?> 

because I would like everyone to be able to understand what is what ( just spilling the whole config does not help a lot ... ) 

I hope there is a way to set it up 

and if anyone has a way to get into the back end feel free to share :D

a custom SMS comand which you described is sadly not possible with the CMR currently, only with a little work around

You can set an Alias SMS which is writing a value into the LOGO!BMVM

Then you can add a trigger on that value (like >5) to send a SMS from the CMR.

After some time you need to reset this value in your BM when SMS is sent to be able to retrigger it

In this SMS you can include up to 16 placeholder

It depends on your amount of data if this is enough or not.

Else you can trigger two seperat SMS when the value changes

How can I use the VM mapping to write a value , since I can't directly map a variable ( Like AM or flag ) to a VM address that I can modify

I used this principle  from user ixo65 that can be found at the above link

"V_pulse.zip"

So in order to trigger the SMS :
I’ve made a network input and output at the same address and setting an alias on the SMS command to flip the bit from 0 to 1 of the network input and at the network output after a certain period I flip it back to 0

Here I attach a picture of how this is done , depending on how you want to play it you can use an on-delay or off delay depending on your needs the way is set up is always the same

now how to flip it from the alias I used this command“LOGO=VM2.1,1,BIT”
I the moment I don’t have a password set because I am still trying to set it up

Then you setup the actions and signals and events to send out the SMS with your whatever you need in my case a status SMS that shows all details of all the inputs only when that NI or NQ is high

for showing me that a network input and a network output at the same Address counteract them selfs if you play your cards right :D
