Communicate WinCC Advanced SCADA with Delta PLC

Hello Experts,

We required solution for following configuration,

1. WinCC Advanced SCADA V13 SP1.

2. Delta PLC (CPU DVP14SS211R).

Delta PLC supports MODBUS RTU (RS 485) protocol, so is it possible to communicate the WinCC Advanced SCADA with Delta PLC???

I found some informations in the manual and in the forum.

In the WinCC Advanced manual you find the following about

• "Configuring a connection via Modicon Modbus RTU"

I don't know if it's similar for Delta PLC MODBUS RTU, as there is no other CPU type selectable.

I have configured PC station in WInCC Advanced. And made connection using Modicon Modbus RTU driver. Also prepared a tag to read coil status and forced data from Modsim but i can not read data in Runtime.

I set this for demo purpose, actually we need to read data from Delta PLC.

so my questions are,

1. What device should i select while going online?

2. Which interface should i select for communication? (I have selected Com3)

3. What Access point and Interface parameter to be set in Set PG/PC interface?

Kindly suggest solution at the earliest....Also please find attached backup for the reference.

Hello expert I have the same problem. I want to connect Delta CPU. But I did not find the driver for Delta communication driver in TIA Pro Wincc V13SP1. I also do not how to use OPC communication protocol.

Attached file is helpful while doing Modbus RTU communiucation in Panel/Ad Runtime. Its help of TIA portal only.

Modbus RTU communication is tested with only Modicon Modbus RTU.

WinCC Adv/Panle always act as Master(Modbus RTU)/Client (Modbus TCP).

My suggestion would be check with modbus simulator software like Modview (Modbus Slave) to test modbus communication in WinCC Adv RT.

Once it is working fine the check same Modview (Modbus Master)software with Delta PLC. 

If everything is working fine then try with actual WinCC and Delta communication.
