Communication between 2 PLC's added in one Tia Portal project

Danielchirita82 Joined: 1/12/2023 Last visit: 5/13/2024 Posts: 19 Rating: (0)	Hi, I want to communicate between 2 PLC identical (CPU 1515SP PC TF = 6ES7 677-2WBx2-0xB0) with a Scalance XB008 as switch. These 2 projects with each PLC work fine and correct independently, I can go online/download etc. They have IP 253 and 254 (last characters), but when I want to copy or create one project over another to make a communication between, I can not go online with the PLC that was copy the last. It tell me an error incompatible device detected at address ...253 or 254... Can you help me with an advice? Thank you! Attachment Communication 2 PLC.png (435 Downloads)

Stefan Arcularius Platinum Expert Joined: 1/21/2013 Last visit: 11/17/2024 Posts: 3280 Rating: (510)	Hi Danielchirita82, Are you using a fixed IP address for your engineering computer within the PLC subnet or are you using the temporary IP addresses from TIA Portal? If you are using temporary IP addresses, you may have an address conflict. You can try to delete the temporary address or reset the TCP/IP configuration. Kind regards Stefan

Now I can go online, and I can download software on both PLC and I can download Hardware just for PLC 254 but still I cannot download Hardware for PLC 253. About IP's, I use my laptop with IP LAN static and in Virtual Machine I use automatically adapter with bridge thru Laptop Network card. I try in many possibilities the IP configurations. Maybe via Remote Desktop or just by connecting a monitor, keyboard and mouse? Maybe the IP address for the X2 interface in the operating system is configured with the wrong subnet mask. Anyway, in final I try to download Hardware Configuration from Device View of PLC and was working perfect, now the links are kept for Download from anywhere. Also, this problem was post here with the approach issue I think: Connection problem - 124771 - Industry Support Siemens Thank you and best regards!
