Communication between Plc's in the same PCS7 project

razoh Posts: 81 Rating: (0)	Hello, I have a PCS7 project with 3 different S7-400 Plc's. I need to share information between those Plc's but I am not able to do that. The block I am using are SEND_BO, REC_BO and SEND_R, REC_R. I have configured the physical connections in NetPro but it doesn't work. I have attached a file where I show how I configured the physical connections for the different stations and the block I have used. I hope anybody can help me with this. It seems ok but when I check the Status in the blocks, I have STAT 16#1, that means: Communications problems, for example: -Connection description not loaded (local or remote) -Connection interrupted (for example: cable, CPU off, CP in STOP mode) -Connection to partner not yet established -FB cannot be run on an S7-400-CPU -Also for S7-300:·Maximum number to parallel jobs/instances exceeded I dont know which of thosecan be the problem I also have ERR=1 Command completed with error CIW = 1 Command in Work Can you help me with this information Attachment Communications Status.JPG (456 Downloads)

From the screenshot I see that not all parts of redundant connection is established, but the resulting diagnose says established. Only I can suggest now is to call directly SFB12/13 to check if there is problem on comm itself or in the covering blocks, but probably the result will be the same, covering blocksmakes just interface and work with data.Hope somebody else will have another idea where could be problem. Phantom75 Posts: 2661 Rating: (279)	Hi razoh, Please download the connections again to both (all) PLC's from Netpro and see if you are communicating. Also, make sure ID parameter (local) is properly set on the SEND/RECV blocks... Regards

kas Experienced Member Joined: 4/14/2006 Last visit: 12/2/2024 Posts: 75 Rating: (2)	Hi, If a down load of the connections in both plc's is not working then 9 of the 10 times the ID and R_ID is wrong: The ID parameter represents the I/O number specified in your I/O configuration. and is applied only at the first call after a cold restart. (This is your ID number out of NET-PRO) The R_ID parameter is a random number (suggestion: message frame ID). However, it must be identical at the corresponding send and receive blocks and is applied only at the first call after a cold restart. In a running plant you can not do this so you just copy the FB and rewire itfollowed with adeltadownload. Kas
