Communication between S7-1500 and Euromap 63?

I have a client who wants to extract and store some process parameters from an injection molding machine (IMM), and asked if our machine could handle it. Our machine processes the parts output by the IMM, but up to now had no direct communication with it. The machine runs on a CPU 1515-2 PN, which gathers all the relevant process data, while a nearby PC stores the data in a database.

The problem is, this IMM doesn't seem to have any standard interfaces for data exchange with a PLC. I tried asking for Modbus, TCP/IP, Profinet, but the only thing I was told was to try through something called Euromap 63. I've tried reading up on this interface, but it really doesn't seem to be a standard usable for PLC communication. I've even seen it described as a 'file-based protocol'. Does anyone have any experience with communicating with Euromap 63, or injection molding machine in general?

Unfortunately, OPC UA is only supported by the newer Euromap standards (77, 83). Euromap 63 does not support OPC UA, so it cannot be used.

I found the Kepware website earlier when I was researching the subject by myself, but their solution seems to be software that is installed on the PC? 

Do I understand correctly that there is no method to use this Euromap 63 interface to communicate directly with a PLC? I would have to pay for a Euromap 63 driver and install it on the SCADA PC?

Ah, please don't misunderstand, I understand why PLCs don't have a method to communicate with every random interface. I'm more surprised that manufacturer's do not adopt standard solutions for communication so that any PLC can communicate with them. I suppose that is also changing now, with the new Euromaps even having OPC UA.

The client's technician specifically mentioned Euromap 63 when I was asking him about PLC-IMM communication, that's why I was fixated on the idea. Now that I know better, I'll try from another angle.

Hello to comunicanted both devices you can use a middle gateway at it moment only one device have the capability to do it.

Is the MICA of Harting yo can read EU63 and write the information using OPC UA or S7 protocol to the  1500.

I’dont Know if Siemens have in their roadmap implement in their IPC same application in order to do the same that we can do with Harting device.

I want to have injection parameters from IMM and i know that it's possible but when i search for something every platform is payed
