Communication between Simulator - > PLC - > WinCC runtime professional

el_erinho Posts: 46 Rating: (0)	Hi people, I am using the following configuration (attached): - S71500 - ET200SP - PC in the following connection: ET200SP->S7 1500-> PC. I use following software: TIA V12 profesional, wincc comfort. I want to simulate my WinCC project in runtime with SIMULATOR V12. unfortunately when I pick ''online'' button for my winCC, I cannot connect to the simulator unlike with PLC which causes me no trouble. I have sent PG/PC interface to PLCSIM. Also I have tried with setting my IP address like in the project. Does not work. I have also set the Simatic PC name to the real name of my PC. I have run out of options. What could fix this issue? Hello el_erinho, Check the name of the access point in Set PG/PC interface settings. See if that matches with the access point name defined in the RT advanced connection. If this is ensured, then there is no reason why your simulation of RT Advanced should not work.

Dear Ganes, I have run simulator, and after that selected to go online. It still does not work. It really starts to frustrate me... Any other solutions? I have done the following: ->set IP address of PC as in the program->Set PG/PC interface->PLC can go online->Pressed simulation for wincc - > pressed go online - > does not work. My suggestions: 1- update your software to V12 SP1 upd2. 2 - in the HMI connections definition be sure that stay on access point of application "S7online". If possible post a printscreen of it. 3 - In PG/PC interface (control panel) set PG/PC = PLCSim 1200/1500 (like you have alread post) 4 - Start the PLC simulation 5 - Start the HMI simulation.

My suggestions: 1- update your software to V12 SP1 upd2. 2 - in the HMI connections definition be sure that stay on access point of application "S7online".
