However, there are no documents, manuals or availability information linked to these part numbers. I am looking for these on the Web, please feel free to search for them in parallel also. dchartier Grandmaster-Expert Joined: 9/27/2006 Last visit: 11/4/2024 Posts: 12293 Rating: (2690)	Hello Rauno; Its been a long while in coming. but I have finally recieved the information i requested on the S7/PCS 7 converter blocks for Siemens PLCs; the part numbers are the ones shown in the earlier post, but now we know they are available and we have a bit more information: 9AE4110-6AA00 SIMATIC S7 / PCS 7 block library for communication with M-Bus devices for S7 - 300 and S7 - 400 License for one CPU and max 15 devices Small licence Price: 950,- EUR 9AE4110-6AB00 SIMATIC S7 / PCS 7 block library for communication with M-Bus devices for S7 - 300 and S7 - 400 License for three CPU's and max 50 devices Medium licence Price: 3375,- EUR 9AE4110-6AC00 SIMATIC S7 / PCS 7 block library for communication with M-Bus devices for S7 - 300 and S7 - 400 unlimited license for one plant, one location Open licence Price: 4875,- EUR And on the Siemens Industry Mall: https://eb.automation.siemens.com/goos/catalog/Pages/SearchResult.aspx?search=9AE4110-6AA00&exact=n In the attachment it is stated you can use any S7serial communications processor (CP 340, CP 341, CP 441, ET 200S 1SI) to generate a RS-232 signal based on these licensed blocks; then you will have to send this signalto a RS-232 to MBus converter for connection to the MBus line. Siemens RS-232/485 to M-Bus converter:5382 M-Bus Signal Converter WZC-P60 - Siemens Other converters are available from HMS, HSC, Westermo… Please search on the Web. Ton Verra Gold Member Joined: 4/20/2007 Last visit: 9/19/2024 Posts: 727 Rating: (43)	Hi all, Think I found an easier and cheaper solution..http://www.adfweb.com/home/products/MBus_PROFIBUS.asp?frompg=matrix_5_7 It is a gateway from mbus to profibus. took me a little effort to get it right, but with the help from adfweb I got it to work. I esp like the price, which is about 225 euro. I have been waiting/looking for an easy solution and it seems that I found it with this module.
