communication without CPU, only IOT+remote

edurov Regular Member Joined: 12/15/2016 Last visit: 11/8/2024 Posts: 69 Rating: (0)	Hello, I would like to connect an IOT2050 with an ET200SP (IM 155-6 PN) to know the status of digital+analog inputs and they can govern digital outputs, is it possible for the IOT to collect/write the signals? In the negative case what options would you have to retrieve/write inputs and outputs without using a CPU, just using the IOT? I think of an alternative that would be to communicate with a remote station using a protocol other than Profinet, OPC or Modbus, is this a good solution? Is there a remote station with OPC or Modubus protocol? Thanks,

We will release an image and example with this functionality soon. Another option would be using the ET200SP Multifieldbus, which can also be used with Modbus TCP and EthernetIP besides Profinet - details see here. Best regards!
