Comparing an analog input to a setpoint variable from an HMI

I am trying to compare an analog input to a setpoint variable coming from an HMI.

Which analog instruction is best for this?

Thanks bu the variable that I wan to compare to the AI is coming from an HMI as an integer.

How can I compare this integer setpoint value to the analog input in order to trigger an event?

The system is a VFD-driven motor driving an actuator pulling tension on a line. The line is attached to a load cell. The analog input is from this load cell. The HMI will have two data entry fields, one is slow down value and the other is target value. When the load value is equal to or greater than the slow down value (set point 1) the Logo sets digital output 1 which is an input to the VFD causing the motor to slow down. When the load value is equal to or greater than the target value (set point 2) the Logo sets digital output 2 which is an input to the VFD causing the motor to stop.

I just assume the value coming from the HMI is an integer so I need to compare this integer value to the analog load value to trigger these two set points.

Yes I agree. I described the application in a simple way.

I realize that I will need to deal with more details than how I described it.

I will likely one shot the set points and latch the outputs so I only deal with each for a scan.

I don't have all the logic figured out just yet. I just was tackling one issue at a time and the analog comparison is my current issue.
