Conditions to call SFB20

Saffari Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	Dear friends, In which conditions PLC's operating system calls SFB20? What differences are there when a CPU goes to STOP mode by its OS and by user via another CPU/Station? How do we declare it?

Sydney Gold Member Joined: 1/4/2008 Last visit: 3/8/2023 Posts: 703 Rating: (96)	Hello, as I know the PLC's operating system doesn't callthe SFB20, it is given as possibilty to stop the PLC by user program. There is the SFC46 "STP"for stopping the local PLC and the SFB20 "STOP" for stopping the remote PLC. The conditionsare declared in the user programand there is no difference between the stop commands, it will change the mode to Stop with all its circumstances. Regards Sydney

Aret Posts: 2348 Rating: (262)	I'm also saw PLC going to STOP mode, in diag buffer there was message Stop caused by SFB20. But actually stop is caused by errors - in my case it was critical mismatch in HWKonfig.
