Hello dear dchartier i want to Configure Two Seperate system 1) Boiler Protection with S7400F/FH + ET200M +S7300 Signal Modules. 2)Boiler Control with S7400H + ET200M+S7300 about ET200M : i will Supply ET200M Racks by External Power Supply So i want to Put 2*IM153-2 (order no.:6ES7153-2BA10-0XB0) Near to Each other and want to use 6ES7195-7HD10-0XA0 with IM/IM (Not PS/IM).about ET200M rack, im using 530mm Rack (Order No. : 6ES7195-1GF30-0XA0) after entering to Simatic manager i added my Main Cpu (414-5H) then made a Profibus Network and Configured & Put ET200M on Profibus Line . but when i opened IM153-2 , i noticed it just shows 11 slots while in ET200M Distributed I/O manual (i attached part of it) page 14 it shows an ET200M Rack and says we can put max to 12 OTHER module next to IMs(in manual they used PS/IM but in my case its IM/IM) i attached My Autocad Schematic(as .Pdf) of Both Systems and you can zoom in to see all Modules Clearly, i hope it will help . Hello Arian-a; First, let's address your iM 153-2 problem, failsafe issues we can solve once your hardware configuration is corrected. You could not find the IM 1153-2BA10, so you replaced it with a IM 153-2BA01 in your hardware configuration. Look at the screenshot below, showing the differences between these 2 models, you mght just see where your mistake began... The IM 153-2BA10 is described as a IM 153-2 HF in the Industry Mall (since you posted a screenshot from the Mall, you know how to look it up there), and can hold up to 12 I/O modules, the IM 153-2BA01 (IM 153-2 standard) can only hold up to 8 modules. So it is quite normal that your IM 153-2BA01 shows only 11 slots available, 3 reserved and 8 for I/O modules. (I can guve an explanation for the 3 reserved slots, but it would take more space here ad it is not relevant to your problem). If you cannot find the IM 153-2BA10 in your Step 7 catalog, it might be because your version of Step 7 is not recent enough to show it. What version do you work with? As with any Profibus slave from Siemens, you can downlaod the gsd file from Product Support, integrate it in your Step 7 version and use it for your Profibus networks (it might appear under "Other Products" in the Profibus cataog after integration). Remember to close the active project in the Hardware configuration (the HWConfig page must be blank) before you can integrate a new gsd file. Here is the link to gsd files for different models of IM 153-2, the one you need is the first download in the list: :https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/113498 Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier
