connect s7300 to schneider tesys t via profibus

fritz Diamond Expert Joined: 10/7/2005 Last visit: 9/11/2024 Posts: 3020 Rating: (1054)	Hello ice_engg have a look at SFB52 (RDREC) which is the one you'd use to read out Datarecords/Datasets via DPV1. It is from an interface point of view also identical to the FB "RDREC" as defined in the standard "PROFIBUS Guideline PROFIBUS Communication and Proxy Function Blocks according to IEC61131-3", so if your Schneider Tesys complies with this (which I can't tell you), you have a winner. For completeness, SFB53 (WRREC) is it's Datarecord/Dataset writing counterpart. Have a look too at this FAQ just in case you'll need to read from more than 8 Tesys Units per DP network.
