Connect Zebra printer with s7 1200

a string that I send to the printer :

Version 1 only DMC and TEXT - I print the number once as text and once as DMC

Were you able to establish the communication and print the labels using Rs232, If yes could you please send the PLC code and configuration setting done in Printer. 

I have a requirement of S7 1200 interface with Zebra gt800 via. RS232 port. Thank you in advance.

Use a block PORT_CFG to configure your connection, then use Send_P2P.

You can try send the same command I posted above.

Hello , you set up know-how protection in your project. Could you share with us your project to help solving problems regarding communication between PLC and Zebra? A lot of people would be thankful and grateful for it.

For the last days, I've been looking for help in this topic. I managed to print labels straight from the PLC. The solution is very simple :

1. Create a label in "zebra designer" -> save and click File -> send to printer. In my example, the label name "ETYKIET1.ZPL" - I use two FN11 and FN12 data fields, one for printing the second text to the DMC code, but you can insert everything you specify is the label template that is in the printer.

2. Add TSEND_C in the project.
3. Data to send is a character table.
In my example, I call a file saved on a printer named e: label1.zpl and I put in the field of variables what should print

 Hi!! at the end, what zebra model did you use?? I believe it applies for the zebras with Ethernet. Right?

I am exhuming an old thread here, but I would be interested in your example TIA program for communication with Zebra printer.

Unfortunately, I do not have TIA V13, and therefore I am unable to remove know-how protection when opening your archive with a newer version of TIA (I use v16).

Would someone be kind enough to open the project with TIA v13, remove Know-how protection using password "kotek1", and make a new archive of it ?

It would be awesome, because unfortunately, removing a Know-how protection from a block is unavailable if the project has migrated from a previous version of TIA.
