I have CPU 1214C DC/DC/DC and RF1140. I downloaded example Reading UID/tag fields with SIMATIC RF1100R and Modbus TCP for TIA V18. I changed CPU S1500 to S1200 in project. It is good works in TIA V18. Then i moved project in TIA V15.1. I have problem with connection in TIA V15.1. I have error status 16#8602 and subfunctionStatus 16#0000_80BB |

Hi, please check the status of the connection from the PLC to RF1140R. Is the connection established from the point of view of the PLC? |

There is no connection with PLC. Indicator R/S on RF1140R blinking green light, it means no connection. |

Please check the status of the connection from the PLC to RF1140R in the online view of TIA portal. If the connection was added in the network view, it can be checked there. If the connection is created by the T-blocks it has to be checked there. Maybe you could also check, which of those blocks is reporting the error? Please open the web interface of the RF1140R with your browser. Does it show the Modbus connection in the upper right corner (device status in the status bar) ? |

You're correct. RF1140R can't be added to the project. Never the less, the PLC needs to establish a TCP/IP connection to the RF1140R. It's either in the project (network view) or done by the T-blocks (blocks in the PLC used to communicate via connections). At the end of your 2. screenshot is the MB_Client block. There should be an instance, probably in one of the DBs. There should be instances of the T-blocks too (T_CONN, T:SEND, T_RECV). |
