control servo motor position with SFB44

Hi All.

i wanna to control servo motor position .my cpu is 313-6CE01-0AB0-2dp

can i use SFB44 ????

if i can not using SFb44 ,how to control position???

my servo motor and servo drive is STOBER.and i control with +-10 V .

New subject after splitting from position control with CPU 313C.

Hi.

Positioning, AFAIK, is not possible with 313C CPU. So you can't use SFB44 on this CPU (this SFB simply doesn't exist on the CPU). You need 314C CPU for that.

I don't know servos you mention so I can't advise you with other way of controlling it with help of the 313C CPU.

thank you for your attention.

i sure i can not use SFB44 in my cpu.

i try to write a block to control position in my cpu.

Course , i use FM350 and AOsub modual for counting input pulse and send analoge voltage +-10V to servo drive.

if you have any offer for my problem pleas send for me.

While selecting your AO card, be careful - most of S7-300 AO modules have substantial conversion time (>>1ms).

However, if you can extend configuration of your PLC, there's a special module for controlling servo axes in positioning mode - FM354. Have a look at it.
