Hi, there are quite a few application examples on how to control a SINAMICS G drive via a SIMATIC PLC - see this for example: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/de/en/view/58820849 The principle of SIMATIC -> SINAMICS communication is always the same: Depending on the control mode of the drive (speed control, position control,...) you select a standard telegram for the communication (e.g. standard telegram 1 for a very basic and simple speed control: switch on/off drive and give a certain speed setpoint from the PLC). On the PLC side this telegram is an input/output area. Input = data from the drive; Output = data to the drive What you need to do in your cyclic program is to write the needed data to the address of the drive. For some telegrams there are already standard function blocks available (e.g. SINA_SPEED FB for telegram 1) which make life way easier. But check out the application example and it will get clearer to you. switched off drive: 047E(hex) switch on drive: 047F(hex) And to give a certain speed setpoint you need to scale your rpm value with given that 4000hex = 100% of rated speed (p2000) and send this value via control word 2. |
