Converting Byte to ASCII

BWS Posts: 22 Rating: (1)	I am reading a 16 element array from a VME rack via OPC. Each arrayrepresents a message and eachelement in this array is one byte long. Each byte contains the decimal value for an ASCII character. How do I convert these bytes to an ASCII character? I am adding each element in the array as a seperate tag (16 tags/array). I have tried many different combinations of data types in the tag properties, but all I seem to display is the decimal value ofthe ASCII character.Does anyone know how to accomplish this conversion?
