Converting old S5 system to S7, CP timeout

I tried to upload backup from CP521 BASIC by using COM521 BASIC( V1.2) S5 version 6.5 CP 521 BASIC to PT 88 printer (RS232C (V.24) Interface) & CP 521 BASIC (TTY active) to PG 685/PG 635 (TTY passive) & CP 521 BASIC (TTY passive) to PG 685/PG 635 (TTY active). When i try to save sourcecode from CP521 i get response like attached image. Now i feel i have reached to dead end. One of my competitor successfully upgraded same machine to S7. He read it from ATMEL. I dont know how to directly from ATMEL ROM. Though i have received .hex file from customer. iamnayak Advanced Member Joined: 11/10/2010 Last visit: 10/17/2024 Posts: 15 Rating: (3)	Hi Harish at27c512r is one-time programmable read only memory (OTP EPROM) this eprom can not erase or reprogram. you have to remove the chip from base and use plcc to dip adapter and read from any eprom reader or you can send me the .hex file i'll convert back to PLC Program and send back to you good luck
