Berg, There are more possibilities. According to the Siemens manual PCS7 projects are always created as multiproject. In the multiproject, several projects are created: AS projects, OS projects (with server(s)) and client projects. The advantage of creating several projects in a multiproject is the usability for the engineer. You can remove for example an AS project for editing. You don't need the multiproject, but it is still part of the multiproject. This is handy when it comes for multiproject engineering. When you're done, you can put back the AS project in the multiproject. Please take a look at the system documentation. It is well explained. |
