CPU 1214 AC/DC/Rely goes in to stop mode

sumit rakibe Posts: 36 Rating: (0)	Sir, i am facing problem about TIA V 11 software. I am using S7 !200 CPU 1214 AC/DC/Rely. I am download the program in the cpu. but when i off he power and after 5 to 10 min on the power the cpu goes in to the stop made. i saw the onnline dignostics then the error shows that the internal memory currupt. I did factory reset of the CPU and download the program. After power off i am facing same problem. CPU goes in to stop mode. i attach the picture about the error. Please do reply fast... What is the FirmWare version of the CPU you are using? Are you using PID controller in your S7-1200? Possible Solution: 1. Ensure you use the FW v2.2.0 (you can download from here - Operating system updates for CPU 1214C, COMPACT CPU, AC/DC/Relay) for which you also need atlesast STEP 7 Basic v11 SP2 in turn. 2. Perfrom a "reset to factory settings" option and 3. Also always download the program changes using the "Software (all blocks)" in your controller. This ensures that all the blocks are downloaded into the controller and prevents inconsistencies (even after a power failure). This should probablly fix the issue. Check and get back on this.

Do what Ganes10 says to prevent the problem. Create a diagnosticerror handlingroutine (TIA Portal numbers it OB82)that is called to handle errors that would otherwise crash your program. I'm not sure if you actually have to handle the problem, but here's a good suggestion... 1. Put a counter in that routine that increments every scan it runs. This will tell you how often it is getting called and help you find any code problems. 2. Put in some code to get the error and save it so your PLC logic can save the error and possibly even respond to it, and correct the problem or at least alert you to the cause. If you put that counter on your HMI, you can see it, reset it, and possibly have it generate an alarm action so you get some history in the HMI. It might even allow your operators to see the relationship between things they are doing and the alarms that pop up, possibly stop doing it, and maybe prevent crashes until they let you know what is happening.
