CPU 1214 online access problem

Wally24 Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Hi, I try to acces online a cpu 1214 without success I can ping the PLC, I see it in the accessible partner list but I can't go online and see blocs inside the CPU. P.S: I have got the original backup and there is no program protection... I give you some pictures to help to understand my problem Any help is welcome! Wally24 Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Hello, The IP adress of my network board is 192.168.0.3 (PLC is 192.168.0.1). I'm using TIA 10.5 SP2, and the PLC is a 1214C (214-1AE30-0XB0 firmware V1.0). This PLC has been intalled by a german company in May 2011 with a standalone machine. Now, my client want me to make interraction between this machine and other installation. I still don't understand why I can see the PLC and not going online with it... I don't think it's important but there is a KTP400 connected with this PLC. I disconnect it to connect my PC with the PLC. Thanks, Wally24

I disconnect it to connect my PC with the PLC. Thanks, Wally24 Wally, I have seen similar behavior in the past with various versions of the TIA Portal software and PLC Firmware. My simple solution has been: 1. Reboot PC and try again (works about 25% of the time, but it is usually better than 2). 2. Reboot PLC and try again. Nearly 75% success rate, but not always the easiest to do. I do not know why. I only tell you what I have found works for me.
