CPU 317-2DP Redundancy

philbdx Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hi, I'm trying to have the SW-Redundancy V1.2 working on a very simple 317-2DP architecture, and I don't succeed ... did someone succeed with 317 ? It looks that something is wrong in the OB100 data ... thank's for your help

JMJ Posts: 487 Rating: (45)	Hi As per Siemens update, 317-2Dp is not listed under supported CPUs. But this document is dated 2003, so I think 317 was not in market. I think it should work. Also see the case below /tf/WW/en/Posts/266 As per tech support, it should work. Post your OB100 here, most probably there may be an error. Also let us know if you reducdancy communication is via MPI, PB or Ethernet.

philbdx Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Thanks JMJ, the redundancy link is MPI. I've attached OB100 copy and network architecture. DP adress and MPI address of CPU's are default 1023, 1021. Attachment OB100.zip (292 Downloads)

But in Ob100 it is mentioned as 3 [code]SLAVE_NO :=3 // Profibus address of first used DP-slave (IM 153-3) SLAVE_LEN :=1 // Amount of used DP-slaves[/code] This has to match with eachother. But I would suggest you to change Et200 address to 3 and DP addreess of CPUs to 2. It is a general practive to reserve address 1 for an HMI. After fixing this, if you still face problem, please provide values of MW2 & 4 [code]RETURN_VAL :=MW2 // Block return value EXT_INFO :=MW4 // Extended information[/code] These two values are very helpful for diagnosis,

philbdx Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Thank you ... after messing around with changing parameters you finally end wifth this kind of error. Nevertheless it is still not working. Return values of MW2 is 8009 and MW4 = 80C5 (which I didn't find in the error list ...)

JMJ Posts: 487 Rating: (45)	Here is the diagnosis info details. W#16#8009 Changeover lock for slaves could not be disabled. Cause identifiable from return value of SFC58. Return value stored in EXT_INFO. So now, you need to lookat SFC58 error codes for 80C5 80C5 Distributed I/Os not available. Distributed I/Os So the problem is still with your ET200 IO rack. Are you usign redundancy budle HW with active bus module for ET200M rack? Have you changed addressesDIP swithces on both IMs to new address I suggested (3)? What are the LED status on both IMs? I would also suggest to clear memoty and download the whole program one more time after making all the address changes in HW config.
