CPU S7 1200 Led STOP/RUN constantly flashing

I tried to update the firmware 2.1.2, but without result. And I can not connect with PLC, but if insert a memory card.

And the others leds? What you means with: "And I can not connect with PLC, but if insert a memory card." Are your 100% sure that the SD card has a valid fw update (that means the arquive match with the order number of the CPU)?

I mean, what I can not connect to the PLC if it does not insert a memory card, but if insert a memory card, then the connection happens, but I can not download the program to the PLC. When I connect to the PLC I can do Mreset and factorydefault. Then I take out the memory card and do power cycle, but PLC flashing LEDs only STOP/RUN (yellow and green). I sure that the SD card has a valid fw update, but now i can't fw change. I tried to change the firmware to an older version, but it does not update it. When I insert the memory card the LED maintenance is not flashing .

Try to go online (see Tips: S7-1200 / STEP 7 Basic - Check list for first online access /tf/WW/en/Posts/46536#top). If you can go online, restet it to factory settings, else, maybe it should be fault...

When I insert a memory card (Programm or Transfer or Firmware) into the controller maintenance LED is not blinking . I then power off and power on the maintenance LED is blinking, and only in this case I can connect online. If I take out the memory card is not under any circumstances connect online fails. On the other controllers connect to get online and update the firmware, the only problem with one controller. What other variants are? Attachment Online2.jpg (436 Downloads)

I suggest you divide your problem in two: 1 - Behavior without memory card. 2 -Behavior with memory card if the PLC doesn't work ok without the SD card (1), it is not possible to make any conclusion about the operation with the SD (2). Can you go online, reset the PLC, and work without the SD without problems?

So i done in MAIN OB, that all my FC will start then is not (-\|/\|-) first cycle. After that i can reboot plc and it will not come to STOP/Error

Download was not completed fully, Portal 10.5 is frozen. I waited 5 minutes, but did not respond Portal 10.5. I closed the Portal 10.5. Re-opened and tried to download a PLC, but the download has not occurred, there was an error (can not remember which). I will reset the memory. Tried again, but again there was an error. I've done reset to factory settings and then rebooted PLC, - after restart blinking Led STOP / RUN yellow and green. And set online with the PLC has not been possible. Then I tried to connect using the Portal 11, but without the same result.

Robster Gold Expert Joined: 5/28/2008 Last visit: 9/11/2024 Posts: 1343 Rating: (141)	The problem is in "CPUcommon"-State of your PLC. Whatever it means. But please try following step by step. 1. Turn off PLC 2. Delete MemoryCard (only delete Folder "FWUPDATE.S7S" and file "S7_JOB.S7S". Do NOT format the card!! 3. Enter Card in PLC and switch on 4. Wait 2 minutes until LED-Flashing changes 5. Turn off PLC 6. Take out Memory Card 7. Delete Memory Card again. 8. Copy FW-Update files to the card 9. Enter Card in PLC and switch on 10. Wait appr. 5 minutes until FW-Update finished 11. Turn off PLC 12. Take out Memory Card 13. Go to TIA v11 --> Accessible Devices --> Try to go online 14. If it works (and I think it have to), Check you configurated Hardware in Project, if it is similar to used PLC (be carefull with Firmware Stand) 15. Download Hardware and check going online again. 16. If ok, compile and download your project (software) 17. tell us, at which steo of these manual you got problems. regards
