CPU314C-2DP (6ES7 314-6CG03-0AB0) SF error (Properties-Position)

Hi, 

I am facing a peculiar problem. CPU 314C-2DP is going in stop mode with SF Fault (Image attached in zip file) suddenly while machine is running. While troubleshooting, I found that Position properties (Image attached in zip file) in CPU is showing error. but when I checked the Diagnostic Buffer (File attached in zip file) it shows:

My program does not use any address mentioned in Properties - Position of CPU 314C-2DP. Moreover, as with OB86 as mentioned in Diagnostic Buffer (Event 29 of 100) I have that in Program . When I power off and on as in Event 28 of 100 the SF fault disappears and machine nun normal but after sometime repeats the same scenario.

Is the CPU Faulty? 

Shall I change CPU or is it some other problem?

But problem is still the same.

The only Diagnostic Buffer entry I found where the CPU was reporting itself going into STOP mode unexpectedly was a "Power failure" event at 06:24:29.309 AM  09/10/2021.

Possible causes that I would investigate:

• bad power supply.  If you have a different power supply, try swapping it in
• grounding.  If the cabinet ground does not have a good connection to earth ground, the CPU can see this as intermittent power problems.
• Electrical noise
• Flakey CPU.  If a component in the CPU is on the edge of failure, the CPU could experience this as intermittent power losss

The error on the counter card may be unrelated: it is reporting lack of parameterization.  

The I/O address being reported in the diagnostic messages is the LADDR / diagnostic address: it is a reference address used to identify a rack. It should not have any actual I/O module tied to that address.  You should be able to find the address (and the rack it is associated with) in the HWCONFIG --> View --> Address Overview dialog.
