fbelic Posts: 327 Rating: (28)	Greetings 1. Connect CPU to you PC/laptop/PG and set some IP address to PC (preferably in the same IP range as your CPU will be in) 2. Set PG/PC Interface to TCP/IP and according network card 3. Open hardware configuration in Simatic Manager, select CPU and press download. 4. Press View to find you CPU, select it and press OK. After that you can download everything as usual. Best regards

Best regards This works great for obtaining the IP address of the PLC, However if I use the ISO protocol to access the unit I can not upload/download program from the PLC, I see the PLC and its mac address but I cant communicate with it. Am I missing something? Thanx

I was hoping to communicate using MAC to assign/change IP address. my PC is configured with 192.168.0.5 / 255.255.255.0 and PLC is configured with 192.168.103.9 / 255.255.255.0 i think... Thanx

Thanx Hello You change either PC IP ADDRESS TO 192.168.103.5 or ELSE change PLC IP ADDRES TO 192.168.0.9 Whichever is convenient to you. Note: you need to maintain IP Address of both PC & PLC in Same Range i hope this will solve your problem.
