Create an function block

nickwang52 Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	hi~i want to create an FB. when i calling FB in the OB1,display "??"on parameter if no entering actual parameter. I know FB not necessary to assign actual parameters to the formal parameters,but if i having necessary parameter to be assigning.How can i do that? please forgive my poor english!!

Each FB should be called with an instance DB. And thus why the FB comes with red marks when you call it. You have to define the instance data block for your FB. I hope I could understand your question corrctly.

For example ,when i called the timer in the S7,the call statement display the "TV" parameter with red question mark "??".Can i create a function like this form? Attachment ex1.JPG (90 Downloads)

Open your FB, on top you will find a table, here you can assign "Input", "Output", "input-output", "stat" or "Temp" variables. And in FB, you can use these parameters. Best regards, Wizard
