Currently I'm researching a solution for creating an overview screen which will be displayed next to our 'normal visualisation'. Trough this way I hope to get some extra information for this project.

A brief overview of the current situation and future situation might help to understand our goals. 

Current Situation

At the moment we use TIA Portal V19 for creating our PLC program, with WINCC V19 we create our visualisation. The visualisation runs on an INTEL NUC PC, which is mounted in our control cabinet. In the machine room the customer can control the system locally via a monitor and mouse. Via a secomea router we can remote monitor and control the system via a VNC connection. The problem with this is that we take over the whole PC. 

Future Situation

We would like to add an extra display. The exact display is not yet determind. But you can compare it with a 4K smartboard. This display will be divided in 4 to 6 screens. Each screen will display some part of the system. 

The display will be mounted at the customer's office, outside of our machine network. Here the customer can only monitor, so there is no need to control the system from this display.

Because the display is outside of our physical reach it is not possible to use the display as a second monitor. Might it be an idea to use a display with a embedded PC in it? There must be a way to setup communication with our machine network and their office network. I added some attachments with an overview of our current networking situation and our future situation. 

My goal with this forum is to get practical solutions from you, who had this problem before.
