Hi, Practically you need to make at least a netpro download so the AS have to stop anyway. Configuring the server pair involve both servers so... Have a look at the SIMATIC Process Control System PCS 7 Compendium Part A - Configuration Guidelines (V7.1/V8.0) chapter 4.5.3 OS Server. Where it is detailed what is to be done to configure an OS.. This compendium manual also available for other versions of PCS7 so pick the right one. |
- What you read here, please check with manuals and your requirements. |

Hello U_f2e69b79-d255-4..., not sure what means when say "stop machine". If i understood well your target is to add a new OS server (keeping the the OS client as actual). To do that few operations needed: 1. insert the new Os server (standby) in your project and setup the redundancy between OS servers 2. update in the netpro the network connection between OS redundant server and AS 3. update the OS client server data 4. download the new OS server standby 5. download netpro in the AS (as Mist9 said): now the OS server standby should communicate 6. download the updated OS client: the Os client should to be available too for communication 7. stop and download the actual OS server with new OS Server With these operation WinCC runtime interface should to be aalways available and AS working too, the only blinded time is during the netpro download on the AS. Hope can help Regards |
