Data exchange from Fail Safe DI into staderd programm.

I had used STL & FBD language for programming. now we have to use F-IO. We take FDI24XDC24V (326-1BK02-0AB0) IN ET200M (153-2BA02-0XB0). we have CFC optional package and F-package. I make CFC chart and insert F-block (F_:Fail-safe Channel Driver Digital Input) andr connect it with F_DI. but when i try to compile. it gernerate error: FCXX is outside the user range, DBxx is outside the user range. these all FC & DB are my privious programm. if i delete this blocks its compile with no error. my problem is i want my backup as it is (which i had created in STL & FBD language). and want to add CFC with Fail safe chanel driver Block. and want to take Q and QBAD signals of F_DI in my user programm. I am sending my LOG file which gernerate when i compile my CFC. Attachment Logs.pdf (90 Downloads)

Solution: 1) confiure hardware for F system (You must insert atleast one Failsafe module in this H/W) open CPU-Properties >> Open Protection Tab >> select check boxs:CPU CONTAINS SAFTY PROGRAMM & PROTECT ALL CPU PARAMETERS WITH THE PASSWORD FOR THE SAFTY PROGRAMM. 2) Open F-DI module property >> Open Parameter Tab >> select Operating mode: safty mode. then save and compile H/W. 3) Open CFC chart >> select options menu >> customize >> compile/download.. >>in this window fill up below information Area reserved for other applications DB number from: to: FB number from: to: filling these number indicates that fail safe system will take this block for it internal use. e.g. if you take FB from 1 to 1000 and than you insert one channel driver & compile this CFC it will take FB from 1001 it will not effect your present standered programm if it is within FB1000. note: here Reservation for FC area is not provided so insure that when insert Failsafe library it will not override your user programm FCs. 4) now first compile and down load ur H/W config. than compile and download CFC. than Down load your User proframm OB, FC,FB, DB, SFC, SFB (which ever u used)
