Data is not coming from pac3200 with ET200S

Following every procedure given in manual, we are getting an error & SF LED flashes. w.r.t. the error manual says that we have to send this IDENT_CODE to IT4Industry SOFTWARE REGISTRATION FORM. so Plz send IDENT_CODE no. or give me suggestion.... PAC meter Details: MODEL: SENTRON PAC3200 Serial: QAE 2811 MLFB NO.: 7KM2112-0BA00-3AA0 CPU DETAILS.: CPU: IM151-8 PN/DP CPU MLFB: 6ES7 151-8AB01-0AB0

It means that there is no valid license. But: The communication works also without a valid license. A090 is shown and the SF LED is flashing (and there are entries in the diagnostic buffer), but the communication is possible. To get the registration key for your CPU, send the filled registration formto it4.industry@siemens.com. Wüstenräuber

What else to do if liscence is not necessary? What else to do get Data and where do i get data??? Plzzzz elaborate a lil....thanks for telling that REG_KEY is not necessary,no one knew that....Thanks..!! BUT HOW AND WHERE TO GET DATA???

IDENT_CODE must corresponding to the one which is configured in PAC3200. But really, if you know the error code using manual can helps to find what is not OK. best regards, Hristo Mihalev

Kaulquappe Posts: 3093 Rating: (323)	Dear Ashishm, the Modbus block can be used without license for test purposes. When you use the blocks on site they must be licensed and therefore the parameters IDENT_CODE and REG_KEY are used. Your screenshot looks like you didn't initiate the Modbus block (call it in OB100 and do a restart). A sample project is installed with the library, it is available FILE->OPEN->SAMPLES->BROWSE.
