So, make sure you close it before performing your test.~~ ~~Best regards,~~ ~~H-H~~

I even did not online as the testing time (I forced and leave it, disconnected the laptop) I am wondering that is it possible the perform the test in force mode (in general Siemens PLC S7-400 redundancy system)? Thanks

The CPU's version has nothing to do with this "problem". I tested it on the latest S7-414-5H and it behaved the same way. I contacted Siemens and they said, Siemens Support Link up and update mode is not possible when there are active test functions (monitor/modify/force).See chapter 12.1 in http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/82478488 "Test and commissioning functions are disabled. When such actions are busy, link-up and update operations are inhibited." It's a bit vague since the force function is not mentioned clearly in the manual but we can't help it since Siemens considers force job as a testing and commissioning function. Best regards, H-H
