Because you must have a encoder feedback in the ProfiDrive for the homing, but with DCM V1.3 no telegram exists for this usecase. The other problem is this that DCM have no lifesign check to the SIMOTION, so if SIMOTION is in stop then the DCM get the last Values from the bus. you can check if p2037=2 solve this problem. Maybe it is possible to solve the requirement with : 2)It is possible to use an external encoder via SMC30 (connected to the integrated) and Telegram 2 for DCM to configure a Positionaxis.In this case the encoder connection to Simotion is synchronous.
