delta download problem in PCS7 6.1 SP1

I made some changes in my project and I do not know what's happen, but I could not initiate delta download(see picture in enclosure)to OS redundant servers. Can somebody help me with this? CBo Gold Member Joined: 4/5/2006 Last visit: 10/10/2024 Posts: 917 Rating: (63)	Hi Manic, try to get access by Windows Explorer by netword to be sure you have right access to Servers delta download is possible only with both Server in Runtime and WinCC Explorer closed. Try to reboot your engineering station, if doesn't work look for ".tmp" files in WinCC project directory (files like "%YourOSName%.tmp" or just "WinCC.tmp") snd delete them. Should be works Regards

CBo Gold Member Joined: 4/5/2006 Last visit: 10/10/2024 Posts: 917 Rating: (63)	Hello, from your bitmap seems you are not able to do Entire Download too, try to check if "Simatic Shell" configured on right network card. Then check if you are able to do Entire Download on 1st server, if not restart one of the server and try again. Last question: do you remeber what was your last modification on project? did you change something about winCC configuration or modified project on othe ES ? Regards

Manic123 Posts: 12 Rating: (0)	Hello, I made a full download on both server two times Today, after my recognition that delta download is not available. I made a lot of small changes in OS(like User Archive, pictures, text libs)and also AS. After full download of OS server each server had been rebooted. For checking,I check network - this was OK, check existing of *.tmp files - no file was found, reboot ES station. I'm confused what is wrong. Marian

Then check the station configuration and try to download it over all station. Check if all station are configured in same way: PC internal local or anything else. There are no mre reason because should'n have to work Regards

SgtPepper Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	Your bitmap indicates that the system did not try to start the delta download. Here are a couple of things to check and try; 1) Verify that the same user is logged on to all of your computers. 2) Verify that there are no read-only filesin the OS Project on the ES project and your OS server projects. Also verify that there are no manually created files in the projects. 3)I would also suggest that you create a new folder for your project on the OS Servers. Map to the new folder and do a full download. Once completed, try the delta download. This has worked for our customers after all other attempts to resolve the issue have failed.
