Difficulties while trying to upload TIA project to PG

Hi,,

I am asking this question again here in this new topic since I could not find solution to my problem. We have a project using CPU315F-2PN/DP and while trying to upload the full project (Software and hardware) I faced the error (The online module 6ES7 315-2FJ14-0AB0 V3.2 does not support uploading to PG). I even tried some of the information provided in this forum:

- Tried to add unspecified CPU.

- I tried to check the TIA version under Online & Diagnostics / General Tab but I could not find description for TIA version and instead I found Firmware expansion. see attached photo

- I also tried to install TIA V16 as one suggested that this option is not available in versions below V16 but this did not help.

 in a 300 series, you can't see from the online diagnostics, what software version was used to download.

The answer to your question is, that CPU doesn't support uploading to PG, that is simple. You can't upload the software.

Are you sure that the PLC is still programmed with TIA PORTAL? Maybe it was programmed with step 7
