DIGSI 4.94 communication

Good day all.

Please i am new to siemens relay programming. We recently bought a set of 7SJ8041 -5EB49-3Fb1?DD overcurrent protection relays and it  come with DIGSI 4.94 programming software.

We tried to install and establish communication between the relay and the DIGSi installed on PC window 8 pro, and other operating windows, but it is failing.

we searched YOUTUBE and online amanuals for guide, but the problem still persist.

Please what need to be done before they can communicates?

Based on the following document, DIGSI 4.94 cannot be installed on Windows 8 or Windows 8.1:

The screensht below also provides a list of approved Windows versions for DIGSI 4.94.
