i want hsc to count normally but stop count when i0.4 is on. |

hi enco, okay, I was afraid to see, that the S71200-PLC counters have no Gates. But a solution could be: Save the counter-value with a rising edge of I4.0 and write it back in the counter with a falling edge of I4.0. And copy the counter value to an other MD or DB when I4.0 is not true. And from this MD or DB you use the counter value. Have a look in the S71200 System Manual, chapter 10.1 how the counter control instructions work. hope this helps, regards, |

Use the same idea as listed [ link ] to save the HSC value. Instead of a power outage, you will have %I0.4 as an event. |

do you mean power stage in step 9 ? how to insert i0.4 |

where should i put I0.4, I tried cut the power and it saved it. |
