Display but cannot Acknowledge Alarms

Sean Murphy Regular Member Joined: 1/31/2012 Last visit: 10/22/2024 Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	We're switching from a ProcessSuite/APACs system to PCS7 v8.1 On the old system the supervisors station was normally logged in with a user which had the right to view all areas of the plant, but could not interact with them. This feature seems to exist on PCS7 except that that user has the ability to acknowledge alarms. (Authorization for area. under User Administrator) I'm trying to turn off just the alarm acknowledgement, but still allow access to all areas of the plant heirarchy. Thoughts? Thanks
