Divide value in step 5

Hello,

I have a function block in STL. That block have an output  "ausgang"  The ending part of code is :

:T "ausgang"

I want to divide that value for a half, before that i will transport this to "ausgang". in program block it looks like this "ausgang" = pw 166 (it is analog output for variable motor drive)

PLC is Simatic S5 115c

If you want to divide the ausgang value by 2 (halving it) you could right shift the value by one bit. (SRW 1).

If ausgang can be negative too, you need a shift instruction that takes care of the sign too (shift with sign)

If you want to divide the ausgang value by 0.5 (doubling it) left shift the value by one bit (SLW 1)

These instructions only work in FB not in PB.

I have one more question, what if I want to have 70% of this value? not 50%.
