Downgrade TIA Portal project from v14 sp1 to v14

If you have both V14 and V14 SP1 open on the same computer, you can try to copy / paste blocks between them, but I think it will not work for most of it.

If you are using scl, you can export from v14 sp1 (right-click on scl block, copy as text, open notepad, paste, save file as somefilename.scl), and then import using the external source.

You may want to look at tia portal openness to see what it can do with importing the project in v14 sp1, and then see if it can save the project blocks in xml format.

Perhaps then you can work some magic and then import those blocks to a basic v14 project with the same hardware configuration as in the v14 sp1.  Keep in mind, there are quite a few modules, and configuration options that are incompatible with v14.

V14 and V14 SP1 can't be installed side-by-side on the same system!

So you can try to create a V14 project in V14 SP1 (in create new project you can select which version the project should be use).

no, you can only try to create a new V14 project and copy the objects from the V14 SP1 project to it.

Brilliant suggestion!  I was thinking V14 in a VM and V14 SP1 on the main system (or the other way around).

Yes, opening up a V14 project in V14 SP1 and then see what can be copied, or exported.  I think you will find nothing can be copy / pasted.  SCL/STL can be exported using the copy as text option.  Tag tables can be exported as can project texts.  Watch tables can be copied between versions either directly, or by using excel in between.
